ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
SALARY:
£25,000-£30,000
LOCATION:
Hitchin Our client, a successful SME business, have a requirement for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance head office in Hitchin. Working in a small and friendly finance team, and reporting into the Financial Controller, the duties of the Assistant Accountant will include: Posting General Ledger Journals Accruals and Prepayments Balance Sheet Reconciliations Fixed Assets Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts Ad hoc reporting and analysis Support to FC as required The ideal candidate will be actively studying, ideally CIMA/ACCA and be at early stages with this. Strong Excel skills are a must, for which there is likely to be an Excel test at interview stage. Candidates from an SME background would be particular interest and you will be a self starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This is a great role working in a forward thinking and dynamic working environment. The successful candidate can expect study support and career progression.
