Tax Accountant £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata benefits Tax Accountant Robert Half are working with a highly reputable business based in Yate to recruit a Tax Accountant offering £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata. The business is looking for someone part-time (22 hours a week) to join their warm and friendly team of 4 to take full responsibility of the company's tax strategies and processes. The Role As a key member of the wider Finance team, you will assist with the development and implementation of appropriate corporate tax strategies and processes according to company objectives, aiming to ensure full HMRC compliance and assist sustainable growth. Key Duties: Assist colleagues within finance and wider teams with account queries and customer payments Develop understanding for running daily invoices Hold key role in all company tax work, including but not limited to: Regular monthly HMRC reporting, including EC Sales, Intrastat, MSS VAT returns Corporation tax comps Employment taxes Take key role in helping the company set up and establish customs warehousing Support the tax affairs pertaining to Europe, including but not limited to: Dealing with overseas tax authorities Tax reporting Analysis of key tax legislation - BEPS, diverted profits tax Proactively seek and implement tax saving and tax risk mitigation opportunities Develop relationships with principal external tax advisers to assist with the above tasks Your Profile Strong Tax knowledge Previous experience of Corporate Tax Excel skills - pivot tables, vlookups Positive attitude and a team player Benefits £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata Flexible hours (22 hours a week) 25 days holiday bank holidays On-site gym Monthly organised fun activities on a Friday Company discount Pension Scheme Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
