Finance Manager/Financial Controller Based: Bolton

Salary:
up to £40k dependent on experience Our client is an excellent, growing organisation based in Bolton. A group of businesses, established almost 20 years ago, they have expanded over the last 5 years due to acquisitions and an internal restructure at their head office. The business manufacture, import, supply and distribute a range of products extremely well-known throughout the UK and are looking for a strong, experienced Finance Manager/Financial Controller to join them on a permanent business. Role: Supervising finance team of 3-4 staff, reporting to the Finance Director Monitor and budget day to day company performance, ensuring all income and expenditure if accounted for and reported Providing financial support to board of Directors and stakeholders Producing monthly management accounts with full analysis and commentary Preparing financial management accounts, presented accurately and timely Accurate annual budget forecasting Supporting in development and maintaining of systems, policies and procedures internally Analysing and recommending on cost reductions for the business Monitoring and reporting on cash flow for the group Ensuring business and limited companies comply with all statutory regulations - dealing with HMRC/Auditors Helping to drive performance with reports/ides/financial guidance Supervising finance staff to ensure motivation and development - leading on company behaviours and values. Managing, motivating and coaching team Maintaining good relationships with banks, auditors, HMRC, suppliers Supporting business departments with financial information to achieve objectives Undertaking regular 1-1s with the team, ensuring bi-annual appraisals take place Experience: CIMA/ACCA qualified (or QBE) Drive, resilience and able to meet deadlines Hands on and able to use initiative Experienced in managing/developing a finance team Good communication skills internal and external Please send your CV to abbie 4recruiting.co.uk for immediate consideration.
