On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Internal Audit Manager for a 6 Month contract based in Derby. The role: Background and scope of this role: Opportunities have arisen for Internal Audit Managers to join our Client in Derby. Internal Audit is a dynamic, forward-thinking and innovative team that helps our client's business continuously improve through identifying pragmatic solutions to problems. The team provide audit, assurance and advice to help our client's business grow profitably. The team are the trusted advisors for senior managers so our business continues to be trusted to deliver excellence. As an Internal Audit Manager you will be responsible for and involved in: Planning and carrying out audits across our clients' business covering key operational, commercial, financial or compliance risks and processes. Working with the business to create a clear vision of what internal controls are needed. Offering specialist insight, expertise and advice and robustly and constructively challenging current internal controls. Developing recommendations to help managers improve internal controls in the most effective way, promoting a culture of transparency and openness (based on our clients Global Code of Conduct). Promoting an understanding of the sources and value of management information and Identifying and sharing best practice across our clients' different businesses. Plus, your technical and specialist knowledge, and your previous experience will add to our clients' ability to understand issues more rapidly, identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solution. The Candidate: In order to be successful in this role you will possess all or some of the below criteria: Fully Qualified accountant Strong verbal and numerical analytical ability Proven internal auditing experience - Particularly within financial compliance auditing Be resilient, self-motivated and accomplished at forming relationships and influencing people at all levels in the company.
