Head of Finance Robert Half are delighted to be working with a growing business, in a fascinating sector, based in the Gloucestershire area to recruit a Head of Finance to assist the CFO in upskilling the finance function. This exciting opportunity will be tasked with managing the finance function day to day, helping to oversee systems improvements, improving the quality of data and use able MI and building the business partnering capability for finance across the business. Role This role is a really varied opportunity within a fascinating, complex sector. The business is growing, both from a revenue perspective, but also bottom line thanks to product demand and strong pricing. Moving forward this role's main task will be ensuring the finance team are able to provide meaningful MI to the business and add value. Managing stock, supply chain and building up robust controls and processes that stand up to challenge will also be vital, as well as the usual Head of Finance role tasks. Manage the finance team of circa ten. Manage interaction with the wider business, adding value and providing use able insight. Oversight of financial control, processes and information to ensure top quality financial reporting. Help provide useful MI/financial information to the business Support in preparation of five year plan and budget for the business. Oversight of Statutory accounts and tax packs Review variance analysis and be able to explain any variances to CFO Oversight of inventory costing Continuous improvement of the finance function and ad-hoc projects. Profile You will be a senior leader used to managing a team and with demonstrable experience implementing change and adding value. You will enjoy being hands on in your role and will be looking to progress from a Financial Control or Head of Finance role in a smaller business or a similar role in a larger business but wanting more ownership. Salary & Benefits 80-90k (with some flexibility) plus package including excellent potential bonus.
