Due to business growth they require an assistant management accountant to join their team to directly support the company accountant. This is a varied role that will suit somebody with experience and knowledge of journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations and are hungry to further develop their finance career. Job Description: Management of weekly cash flow Weekly debtors reporting Daily journal posting and preparations (accruals/ prepayments) Daily bank reconciliation Processing quarterly VAT Returns Fixed assets reconciliation Balance sheet reconciliation Posting transactions to the profit and loss account for multiple business cost centres Reporting support Support with month end processes Requirements: Previous experience within a similar role Working experience and understanding of accruals and prepayments Reconciliations ability High degree of attention to detail Outgoing, positive and friendly personality that can work as part of a friendly and motivated team Excellent communication skills Working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ ACCA) Excellent team working ability Strong Excel skills (Vlook up and pivot tables as a prerequisite) Ability to adapt to processes quickly in order to 'hit the ground running' in a new position My client can offer an excellent progression path.
