Assistant Accountant - Manufacturing We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant, to work on a full time, permanent basis in Chorley. Our client has been in trade for over 100 years, and work with many clients from small producers, to major operators, globally. What's in it for me? £20-28k DOE Discount shop on site, for all employee's On-site parking Friendly and sociable environment Day to Day Duties; To assist the Management Accountant with accounts preparation / accruals and prepayments and annual budgets. The preparation of EC sales lists and intra-stats. Reconciliation of accounts identifying and resolving differences as required. Costing up components and finished goods using SAP, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of the data provided and entered. Preparation and circulation of daily, weekly and monthly reports for managers as required. Daily / weekly review of data and system outputs to check for errors and address to avoid inaccuracies in the accounts. Review and input of product pricing to SAP Preparation of national statistics returns. To assist the Credit Controller with cash posting and due diligence checks as required. As part of the Finance team you will be required to be flexible and adaptable to changing routines and able to cover other functions to ensure continuity of functions during periods of holiday or sickness. Experience with SAP Part or full AAT Qualified (Desirable) Experience in an accounting capacity within a manufacturing environment Excellent attention to detail Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
