What are we looking for? Otis is currently recruiting for a talented Financial Accountant to join our Leicester based Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, this role will have responsibility for managing statutory reporting and year end audit; including close liaison with external auditors. The main role objectives will be to: Ensure compliance with company secretarial filings to Companies House Produce Statutory Accounts for all trading companies Prepare the annual statutory accounts in local format to USGAAP format reconciliation Assist the wider finance team with technical accounting queries Analyse overheads and cost centre month end data Prepare month end journals and full balance sheet account reconciliations Identify opportunities to continuously improve the accounting, statutory reporting and company secretarial process To be considered for this role you will be: ACCA or ACA qualified a confident, effective communicator who can work in a fast paced environment able to demonstrate industry experience IT literate and have extensive knowledge of Excel, Access and ERP systems.
