To be considered for the role, CassonX are ideally looking to identify a graduate with relevant internships or someone who experience in areas similar to Audit, Business Analysis, Risk and Control Management or Economics. The ideal person is someone who has gained experience of a variety of projects that may include Business Continuity (BCP), writing Procedures, System enhancements, Audit/Compliance requests, Offshoring/Nearshoring or improving efficiencies. You must have some appreciation of communicating with senior stakeholders and have an ability to break down technical information and able to translate it to those who aren't as technical. Obvious preference will be given to someone who has already worked in an operational risk function and has produced statistical information/management information/project support or framework documentation for a risk focused team. Ensuring compliance with all Group Operational Risk Management Policies, Procedures and Standards, and working in a newly formed function for the bank, some of the responsibilities will include: & Assist with the review of Group ORM policies, standards and procedures and to facilitate implementation at Branch level. Provide independent assurance that appropriate processes and controls remain Embedded into our daily BAU & Support the Branch's RCSA framework, providing guidance and assistance to others. Perform periodic reviews of departmental submissions for quality assurance purposes. & Assist with preparation of the monthly Operational Risk Forum presentation pack. Attend the meeting and assist with preparing the minutes. & Maintain the Operational Risk Workbook, ensuring all allocated tasks are completed timeously. & Assist with the co-ordination of our periodic KYV and Due Diligence process in support of the Branch's External Service Provider & Vendor framework. & Assist in the review all Operational Incidents. Ensure adequate root-cause analysis is performed with appropriate controls and processes established to mitigate future re-occurrence. Ensure appropriate classification of Operational Incidents and escalation via the appropriate reporting tools. & Assist with the review of other Branch Audit Observations. Provide independent qualitative assurance of responses provided by each department. & Assist with the Branch's efforts in relation to Business Continuity Management to ensure all aspects of the yearly schedule are completed timeously. & Provide assistance and oversight to operational projects/initiatives to improve efficiency and enhance effectiveness.
