Central Office, Burghfield Common, Reading Hours: 35 per week Interview dates: 2nd/3rd May.

Salary:
£34,688 to £40,000 per annum. This role would suit a newly qualified/part-qualified Accountant aspiring to grow into the role of a Financial Accountant. Within this role, you will support the Financial Controller in delivering a highly efficient, integrated, and dependable financial accounting service to the organisation. This will include being the overall owner of Guide Dogs year end process, and being the key contact for Guide Dogs external auditors. You will also be responsible for reserve accounting, investment accounting, and the integrity of the balance sheet reconciliations. In your application, you will need to evidence, using specific examples, how your skills and experience meet the criteria laid out in the person specification, within the Job Description below. Requirements include; To have previous experience working within a finance function. Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of financial and organisational/business context. To be a newly qualified/part-qualified finance or business professional, with experience of preparing statutory accounts. To have up to date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and the Charity SORP.
