This is one of those unique opportunities which does not come up often; it is an opportunity to become part of an organisation that has seen unprecedented growth in its less than 10 year history and is now one of the largest in the country. They are now looking for a technically strong, ambitious candidate to Head up their commercial FP&A team.Main responsibilities include:Delivering the budgeting & forecasting process for the organisation, supporting budget holders in adhering to process, consolidating information and presenting data to senior management and the BoardProviding the organisation with quality data analytics that allow for data driven decision, seeking to maximise value for money whilst maintaining qualitySupporting the senior finance management team in the development and implementation of reporting and operating metrics that drive performanceWorking closely with the PMO team to implement the wider Annual Business Planning Process, developing strategy and ensuring alignment with budgetLine management of 3 FP&A Analysts; grow the team to at least 5 by the end of the yearThe successful candidate will:Have a University degree or equivalent and be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Have excellent analytical skills and experience using historic financial information, strategic plan or forecast data, with a track record of delivering business performance improvementBe a very strong communicator and influencer, with experience working in a complex organisation Have a conscientious approach to reporting and an eye for analysis and problem solvingBe experienced with staff management and development
