Job Title - Director of Finance & TransformationLeading Think TankSalary up to 100KTeam of 25 peoplePermanent, Full Time, Based in City of LondonClosing Date - 25th April 2019The Badenoch Clark 3rd Sector Team are proud to be working in partnership with an established Charitable Think Tank in London to appoint their Director of Finance & Transformation.The successful candidate will have full responsibility for creating and developing the financial & commercial strategy and overall to deliver operational efficiency. A key priority for this crucial role within the organisation will be to transform the existing finance department and to implement a new finance system.Job
Responsibilities:
Advise the business on financial implications, services, new prospects and financial modelling.To ensure that all legal and tax structures are optimised.Implement a robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring cycle that is well understood, widely accepted across the organisation and available at all times throughout the year. Developing and maintaining multi-year financial planning alongside multi-year programme planning and on-going annual budget setting within this context.Identify opportunities for improving systems and processes .Ensure the appropriate vision, policies and processes are in place to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the charity advising the Executive Director, Senior Leadership Team and the Board on the financial consequences of proposed actions.Contribute to the review of the business model. To compile the annual statutory financial statements adhering to relevant accounting standards. To manage/co-ordinate the external audit processes. Person Specification:This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking charity that is looking to grow. The role requires a diligent and pragmatic candidate that has high levels of attention to detail.
