REED Accountancy Bournemouth are excited to be recruiting for an established business in 3 Legged Cross who require a confident and experienced person to run their Ledger from start to finish. This will involve:
• Reviewing invoices to ensure they are appropriately authorised and coded
• Monitoring the correct authorisation and coding of expense claims
• Reviewing BACS runs and cheque payments
• Ensuring supplier statements are reconciled regularly
• Ensure the integrity of purchase ledger system
• Monitor the ledger for debit balances and duplicate payments
• Ensure supplier set up procedures are followed
• Prepare nominal ledger journals
• Ensure all internal controls are adhered to
• Undertake ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as directed Experience of Sage Software would be advantageous along with a history of supervising a team. This is a full time position, working from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
