Our client is in the manufacturing sector and is offering a salary of between £45K-£55K discretionary bonus along with a staged plan that will see you move through into the Financial Director role in the short-medium term. Reporting to the MD, the successful applicant will also have a key relationship with the non-executive Chairman and owner of the business. This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior finance professional who has experience managing a team and wants that step up to leading the finance function and the direction of the business in their imminent future. Candidate Attributes:
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, QBE Considered.
• Proven experience as a Senior Manager within the finance function.
• Excellent organisational, development and leadership skills.
• Good technical knowledge including VAT, Companies Act and HMRC.
• Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.
• Strategic turn of mind and analytical abilities.
• Excellent man management and communication skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

• The preparation of timely and reliable monthly management accounts with an emphasis on providing meaningful analysis which assists managers in making decisions.
• Company annual accounts.
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Managing a finance team.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Responsibility for company secretarial duties.
• A pro-active role in setting strategy and targets for the business and formulating ongoing business improvement plans and KPIs to achieve them.
• Responsibility for IT and development of the Company's ERP system.
• Business support and financial analysis of new products and investment opportunities. Benefits:

• Full time post Mon - Friday with half day Friday.
