This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a growing business as part of a new staff structure based in Worcestershire.

Location:
Worcestershire Contract length: 12 weeks temporary to permanent Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum Please note, ideally you will be a qualified finance professional with 4-5 years PQE with ACA, ACCA or CIMA. The contract is due to start next week for 3 months in duration with a view to the role becoming permanent. Key Responsibilities of Financial Controller Responsible for the month end processes and reporting, integrity of the balance sheet, balance sheet reconciliations and all GL journals Year-end processing; managing the year end audit, statutory accounts and corporation tax Managing a team of 5 including part qualified and transactional staff, organising their workload and ensuring a motivated and hardworking team Cash management, tax payments and reviewing VAT and intrastat returns Key Skills, Experience and Requirements Strong experience of month end reporting and processing Ideally ACA qualified or ACCA / CIMA Pro-active and positive approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships High level of analytically skills and attention to detail
