The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting for an interim Statutory Accountant for a major consumer business based in the Northern Home Counties. Your role will assist wth the staturoty financial statements and filings and assist with the year end audit. Documenting the consolidation process and develop appropriate controls to operate on a monthly basis Performing the monthly group consolidation Take ownership of and document all statutory and consolidation adjustments Verification of the currency translation reserve and tracking of historical balances Ownership of the relationship with group finance on all consolidation matters Prepare training materials to allow a seamless handover of the consolidation process Manage intercompany reporting processes, ensuring all balances are agreed on a monthly basis Drive improved efficiency of the group's consolidation processes for month end close including liaising with the appropriate IT team members and SME's for system development To be considered for this role you will need to be: Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA) Have experience of performing complex consolidations, including multi-currency, using IFRS with large organisations
