You will be working for this central Bristol business as their Accounts Payable Supervisor. Duties will cover: Manage team throughout daily and ad hoc responsibilities, review workloads, set objectives, complete reviews of work Ensuring the function is running smoothly and that business needs are met Work with the business and suppliers to ensure good relationships are maintained and expectations are met Ensuring the accurate completion of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations for the AP ledgers, by the team Ensuring accurate invoice processing for the team, which involves: Ensuring the accurate processing of invoices from our external Accounts Payable automation provider. Liaising with suppliers by telephone and/or email including raising and resolving invoice queries, dealing with payment questions and requesting/chasing up supplier statements and credit notes Ensuring reviewed completion of supplier statement reconciliations for key suppliers Working with the finance team's service desk system. Including, reviewing all tickets, printing off all invoices with supporting data sheets, personally following up actions required from tickets or alerting other team members of action that needs to be taken, filing tickets in the appropriate service desk location Ad hoc tasks and projects for management and directors as required Ensuring the efficiency of the Purchase Ledger team Owning the production of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team on a regular basis Suggesting and implementing ways to improve the efficiency, accuracy and reliability of the Purchase Ledger process Ideally you will have... At least 5 years experience in an equivalent role Full competency on an Accounting system Full competency and experience on an Invoice management system Experience in Accounts Payable automation Attention to detail and accurate, timely data input Workload management skills - planning, prioritizing and completing tasks Excellent interpersonal skills Positive attitude towards change, and ability to adapt to and initiate change Self-starter, completer finisher, pro-active, confident and able to work independently as well as with the team Positive and friendly, high integrity and a sense of humour Bright and able to think outside the box, with attention to detail and methodical working If this could be of interest to you please APPLY NOW or call Sejal Hampson
