Becoming an Assistant Accountant with Travel & Events: To ensure that all relevant aspects of financial control are correctly adhered to and timely reporting on financial reconciliations are carried out. This position is responsible for posts into the nominal and purchase ledgers What you will do: Duties include but not limited to: Provide support for the Finance Manager and Financial Controller when necessary Quarterly VAT returns Balance sheet reconciliations Month end closing routine including postings journals, accruals and prepayments and reconciliation of ledgers Calculation and billing of management fees and rebates Ad-hoc project work and covering other tasks on the team including banking and credit cards Other ad-hoc duties as required Your experience will include: Experience of working in an accounting related role in a team environment AAT qualified / later stage studier or studying ACCA / CIMA Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills required Able to prioritise and meet strict deadlines Sage 200/SAP experience (desirable) About Travel & Events We support businesses to understand the complex needs and challenges facing each organisation when considering their business travel, meetings and event programmes.
