Axon Moore is currently recruiting on behalf of a high growth Legal firm based in Manchester City Centre who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. The business is led by an innovative and creative management team and they have continued to outperform their market peers and gone from strength to strength in recent years. This role would ideally suit individuals who have at least 12 months experience within Accounts and are looking to progress their careers with the study of ACCA. Full financial study support will be provided with this role alongside excellent mentoring from senior staff. Key responsibilities will include; - Assist with Month End processes - Supporting with Management Accounts production - Supervising ledger clerks and second approving payments - Daily Bank Reconciliation together with associated investigation and administration - Sales and Purchase Ledger reconciliation To apply for this role candidates must; - Have experience working within a fast paced finance team - Have strong Excel - Ideally have experience working within the Legal sector
