Through retirement, a company based in Slough is looking to hire a part qualified or qualified by experience Management Accountant who is looking to join a stable finance team to take responsibility for the management accounts for 2 of their group subsidiaries. Suitable applicants will be self-driven and be able to multi-task and be able to use initiative to resolve issues to successful conclusions. The role responsibilities include: - Monthly Management Accounts, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheet reconciliation. - Bank Reconciliation - Day to day cash flow management across the company bank accounts - Intercompany Reconciliation - Preparation of Vat Return and EC Sales List - Production of weekly & monthly payroll - Assist in completing the audit file for the year and liaise with the Auditors including year-end adjustments - Maintaining Debtor and Creditors control You should have experience of taking ownership of management accounts and be able to understand the requirements of internal management to improve decision support information. IT literacy and a high degree of Excel competency to pivot table level is essential
