Assistant Financial Controller Berkshire £45,000 - £50,000 Role Profile Cast UK are delighted to be working with one of our key customers as they look to recruit and Assistant Financial Controller for the operation in Berkshire. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on operational finance role with key responsibilities that include: Create monthly and annual management accounts for the senior leadership team identifying results, trends and financial forecasts Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and auditing internal reports Motivate and lead the accounts payable team Assist in developing budgets and financial plans for the business based on research and data reports Work closely with functional department heads throughout the business with a view to monitoring, understanding and enhancing the performance of the business Gradually challenge and implement change to existing business processes, policies and procedures to improve financial efficiency and business performance Play a key role in the transition from Sage 500 to Sage X3 Key Skills & Experience This role will suit candidates that have either have an accountancy practice background or have been in a similar finance role within a product led fast moving consumer business. You must be able to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail along thoroughness and a methodical approach to work. Exposure to P&L reporting previously would be advantageous as would experience of working with Sage X3. A strong accountancy knowledge is essential as is audit experience. Previous accounting or finance exposure within a supply chain environment would also be of interest.
