Part Time Finance Assistant required to join a finance team near Kendal in the wonderful Lake District

Your new company

Your new company is a fantastic and growing travel based business in the Kendal area who are recruiting for an experienced Part Time Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team, ideally for 3 days a week.

Your new role

Your new role is an extremely busy role, reporting directly into the Finance Manager, and supporting to run the finance department as a partnership. This role requires an experienced candidate with exceptional attention to detail and a thorough approach to ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience of reconciling accounts and general ledger work. This role would suit a rounded Finance Assistant who has worked in industry for a lengthy period of time and understands the nature of working in accounts within a busy SME environment. This role could be a perfect for a working parent, a candidate working and studying, or purely a candidate who's personal circumstances allow part time working. I would also say that this role may appeal to a candidate who is no longer on a career path and is seeking a part time allows that affords you a better work life balance - whatever your circumstances may be, this is a wonderful role for a positive and intelligent person who is good with numbers and has recent experience in an accounts function.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant seeking a role close to Kendal and be able to commit to three days, a driving license would be helpful for this role as it isn't in a central location. AAT Qualifications are desirable but not essential as my client is very open to meeting clients who are qualified by experience.
