Management Accountant

My client a leading SME manufacturer based in Gloucestershire is looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

To apply for this role you will need to be fully qualified ACCA or CIMA, or demonstrate to us that you are experienced to a comparable level.

You will be working in a fast moving artistic environment and will be required to :-

• Produce monthly Management Accounts to a final standard subject to review by the Financial Controller, for the Board of Directors.
• Produce other financial reports and information as required
• Oversee the day to day accounting functions and direct staff reports
• Reconcile and review key accounting areas, including but not limited to sage accounts systems, stock, assets, WIP, cash, bank, accruals, prepayments, billings in advance, HP and lease accounting.
• Analysis of profitability by business unit, and also at individual job level
• VAT returns /import duty certificates/scale charges as appropriate.
• Preparation of cashflows, budgets and forecasts (with input/review from the Financial Controller)
• Intercompany Accounting - there are 4 main related companies (which are not a Group)

The position is full time (40 hour week) Salary will be based on experience
