12 Month contract Senior Group Accountant for FTSE listed insurance business based in Central London
Your new company
You will be working for a FTSE listed insurance company based in their Central London head office. This company prides itself on being voted one of the UK's number one employers.
Your new role
This role is sitting within the group reporting function at their London head office. You will be responsible for the consolidation of four complex entities. You will be producing the statutory and solvency II reports on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis. Due to the timing of the contract you will have a major role in the year end reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with post qualified experience in a financial reporting position. You will ideally have trained in audit in the big four, either making your first move into industry or have some hands on reporting experience. Consolidation experience is a must. Technically strong with knowledge of IFRS is essential - Solvency II is preferable.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of between £55,000 and £65,000 (dependent on experience) on a one year contract or equivalent daily rate.
