Hays Accounting and Finance are proud to be working with this established, leading manufacturer in Coventry, to recruit a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.


Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include recording and maintenance of foreign and sterling petty cash; daily reporting of bank balances; assisting Purchase Ledger Clerk to keep unprocessed invoices to a minimum; assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts; preparing and processing payroll; and data analysis.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have at least 1 years' proven experience in a finance department and be confident with MS Excel data analysis; payroll; and preparing monthly accounts. Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is desirable, but not essential. You will be hard-working and a strong communicator.


What you'll get in return
As well as a salary of £22,000 you will also receive, 33 days holiday per year (inc bank holidays); employer pension scheme; free life assurance (x3 salary); and flexi time post 3-month probationary period. Working hours are 8:30-5:00 Mon-Thurs and 8:30-1:30 on Fridays.
