A long established, family owned FMCG company based near Preston is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. Working in a small but established team and reporting to the Credit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a £multimillion turnover ledger to ensure aged debt is kept to a minimum and KPI's are met. Duties will include: - Proactively chasing outstanding payments - Daily invoicing - Allocating payments - Dealing with and responding efficiently to debit notes - Processing credit notes - Actively reducing the DSO and aged debt - Bank and accounts reconciliations - High volume query resolution - Monthly reporting for management The successful candidate will: - Have a strong background in Credit Control - Be accustomed to working to deadlines, SLA's and KPI's - Have experience using Sage 1000 (not essential) This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking for an autonomous role with a company who can offer job security and progression.
