We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper for our client based within the Arundel area. You will need previous experience within an accounts role, knowledge of bookkeeping and be confident using sage. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, and overseeing all financial duties for the company. You will be preparing financial statements for review by the company's accountant. Duties: Maintaining company ledgers. Handling subsidiary accounts. Recording financial transactions. Accounts payable and receivable. Completing tax forms. Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Paying regular bills. Filing records and retrieving documents where needed. Making sure you are always compliant with HMRC Statutory Requirements Monitoring debt levels and keeping an annual budget. Recording cash receipts, handling bank deposits and maintaining petty cash. Preparing information for auditors. Providing administrative support as needed. Additional bookkeeping duties. Handling client invoices. Coding payables to prepare them for input.
