The Role Joining our Finance Department means joining a team who encourage independence and development of skills. As an Assistant Accountant you will support the Accountants by helping to process monthly accounts and business reports. Overall, you will support your colleagues and provide a quality service to the business.
• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger
• Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports
• Month end processes, including all accruals, provisions and prepayments
• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure effective running of the process
• Opportunity to complete further studies About You You will be a Part-Qualified Accounts professional. As an ideal candidate you may have a degree however this is not essential. You will be a person who is seeking to develop themselves who will get stuck in and further your experience. • Finance related degree or currently studying towards ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA
• Ability to process month end
• Experience in an accounts department desirable
