LONDON - Head of Finance - up to £65k. This dynamic and fast-growing recruitment business is looking for an experienced Head of Finance / Finance Controller to manage a team of 8 in its accounts team. Ideally you will come from a contract / temp-led recruitment agency background and understand this market - however, experience in a commercially focused business will be considered. This agency has experienced year-on-year growth in a number of specialist verticals and has further plans for UK and International growth. They are looking for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Accountant who has extensive knowledge of current accounting principles and procedures - experience of SAGE 200 would be desirable. Role - Head of Finance My client is looking for a commercially astute and ambitious individual to take on this exciting opportunity. The company has a dynamic culture and is focused on growth - working closely with the owners you will have significant input into the business and can expect this role to develop in the future. Main tasks include:
• To provide leadership and discipline in the financial governance, controls, processes and procedures
• Calculation and payment of all internal payroll and commissions
• To own and be responsible for the month end financial close process
• The provision of monthly management accounts, variance analysis explanations and commentaries
• To provide support to the FD in a variety of projects, including preparation of the annual budget and improving the quality of management information and cash flow forecasting This is a hands-on role working in a team of 8 - you will need to be a commercially aware, process-driven Finance Manager with strong numerical and problem-solving skills, able to challenge processes and drive change when required.
