Compliance Data Business Analyst - Financial crime Risk - HSBC This is an initial 3 month contract based in Sheffield Financial Crime Risk Transformation (FCRT) ensures effective and efficient definition, planning, management and execution of global change programmes related to financial crime risk, supporting the FCR business teams and HSBC to meet its regulatory commitments. Financial crime risk covers key areas such as money laundering, sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption. Agile background a bonus Objective of the role is to drive out analysis to assist with the delivery of streamlined procedures for alert adjudication for AML alerts Understanding of the general Sanctions landscape/OWS/alert adjudication is preferable Will need to manage a significant volume of complex information to draw concise conclusions, to influence direction Will need to work with a large stakeholder network to gather information and drive progress The project will be high paced and reporting to a number of senior stakeholders, so being able to demonstrate a sense of urgency in a previous role would be Assess, test and the accept deliverables returned by delivery partners. Customers / Stakeholders Co-ordinate and workshops, working groups and small teams to facilitate the delivery of the reconciliations. Prepare/distribute meeting agendas/papers and document/distribute minutes and actions. Work with and manage stakeholders with a wide range of views to reach common consensus and support for data reconciliation. Operational Effectiveness & Control Manage workload efficiently. Escalate issues in a timely manner. Plan and co-ordinate meetings, workshops and off-sites. Maintain artefacts on SharePoint in line with audit requirements.
