We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a locally based business in the Manufacturing industry. This company was recently acquired by a massive group, meaning their Credit Control function has almost doubled in size in recent times. Duties are listed below, but are not limited to: Working with our credit insurance provider to minimise risk to the business. Communicating daily with customers in a professional and succinct manner including answering any queries. Working with our legal advisors to recover debts when necessary. Creating credit and debit notes. Reconciling customer accounts. New accounts verified and actioned to work to set credit policies and procedures. Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation and effecting necessary resolution . Arranging customer returns and dealing with queries arising thereafter. The role will have an aspect of financial reporting to it. The company are looking for a candidate who is both experiences in Credit Control and also the manufacturing industry. This is due to the nature of the company and the type of clientele they are working with on a regular basis. They need someone tough, who can hold their own when it comes to dealing with large companies on the credit control. These points add an aspect of a challenge to the role, with a touch of variety, making it a sought after position for someone looking to further expand their knowledge into the accounts receivable department.
