An exciting new Finance Analyst (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) role has come to market to join our client who is part of a leading provider of advice, investments and wealth management, with a large portfolio of investments and customers worldwide. They have grown to become the UK's largest distributor of financial advice. Role: Finance Analyst

Salary:
£30,000 -£45,000

These include additional health care schemes for both you and your spouse, gym discounts, income protection, critical illness cover, retail vouchers, cycle to work scheme - to give just a few examples Role of Finance Analyst: As a Finance Analyst, you will complete month-end accounting processes including journal posting and the extraction of margin related transactions using our core payments system. You'll be responsible for the day to day maintenance of adviser records to ensure appropriate rates are being applied, as well as assisting in the bi-annual process of retention rate reviews for Positive Solutions and our partners You'll manage a varied and busy workload, offering support across the team and the wider business, this could include providing MI and involvement in ad-hoc projects. Your focus will be to manage and reduce the risk within the finance team, and to manage key relationships both within the business and externally. You'll be intuitive and a fast learner with excellent organisation and planning skills, able to manage a variety of processes. Work volumes vary so you'll need to be committed and motivated and able to manage your own time effectively whilst remaining focused and calm under pressure. You'll have a finance background and will be studying towards a professional qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA etc.), ideally with some experience in financial services. You'll need a working knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel, exposure to accounting packages would also be beneficial. As an absolute priority you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
