FP&A Analyst Leicester Salary up to £40k Dependant on Experience Optima Professional Services are recruiting for an experienced, proactive, highly self-motivated FP&A Analyst to join a Leicestershire Manufacturing business. You'll be ACA/ACMA/ACCA/ Qualified and possess a minimum of 3 or more years' experience in Financial Analysis, Cost Accounting or Finance. A confident communicator at all levels with a proactive attitude to operational excellence. The role will also involve some International travel. Key role

responsibilities:
Consolidate and analyse financial data (budgets, income statement & balance sheet forecasts, operational reporting) Develop sales and margin reporting Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans Provide alternatives/recommendations to drive efficiencies and financial performance Develop robust financial analysis of historic and future performance to enable appropriate commercial and strategic decision making Prepare and present, financial rationale/justification for capital expenditure proposals Provide market insight, commercial analysis to identify strategic and operational opportunities Work with key stakeholders in the preparation of long range plans and business cases for new capital expenditure purposes and cost benefit analysis Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function Support development of a business analytics/intelligent system Prepare detailed group financial models Support elements of and incorporate outputs of the group's strategic planning processes Deliver weekly global forecast reporting and daily reports Supporting the production of management accounts, investigation of variances and identification of areas for commercial improvements The ideal candidate will have: Advanced knowledge of MS applications (Excel and PowerPoint) Strong analytical/numeracy skills Excellent communication skills Good planning & organisational skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to liaise at all levels of the business Proactive attitude to operational excellence
