Financial Controller London Bridge Permanent: £54,700 - £69,460 Depending on Experience The Hyde Housing Group are currently looking to recruit a talented Financial Controller to assist the team in delivering accurate and relevant customer focused financial reporting performance information to the Business. Liaise regularly with Business managers to ensure the information is relevant to enable Business Managers to make informed strategic decisions. This role is based out of their London Bridge office. Main Purpose of the Financial Controller Role: The Financial Controller will review, challenge and enhance financial performance and influence operational and strategic decision making. Leading, from a financial perspective, a review of business process improvements to deliver enhanced financial reporting, performance and control. With analysis of financial and non-financial data to deliver value for money, greater effaces and commercial awareness. The post holder must be a fully qualified accountant. Outputs & Accountabilities of the Financial Controller Role: Financial Performance Reporting - Use the financial analysis to review business decisions and challenge managers on costs, assumptions and process to ensure the business is operating in a professional and commercial manner. Regularly attend and contribute to relevant senior management meetings to review financial and business performance. Business Support - Demonstrate a high level of business and technical knowledge to support the organisation in delivering the Hyde Group Corporate plan, Finance Plan and VFM Strategy. Lead and engage with cross function groups to integrate new initiatives and deliver performance improvements, providing a clear financial and control perspective to the decisions being considered. Budgeting and Forecasting - Provide technical guidance and training to support Business Managers to deliver budget targets and forecasts within the Group timelines. Financial Planning - Contribute to the Financial Planning process by providing key information. Management - Lead, manage and motivate a team of finance professionals to produce high quality and accurate financial performance reports for a wide range of business activities.
