You will ideally come from a Contract / Temp-led recruitment agency background or a fast-moving commercial enterprise. This agency has experienced year-on-year growth in a number of specialist verticals and has further plans for UK and International growth. They are looking for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Finance Controller who has extensive knowledge of current accounting principles and procedures Person - Financial Controller You will need bags of personality, the ability to manage and develop your team and not be frightened to challenge the status-quo. • To provide leadership and discipline in the financial governance, controls, processes and procedures
• Calculation and payment of all internal payroll and commissions
• To own and be responsible for the month end financial close process
• The provision of monthly management accounts, flash reports, variance analysis explanations and commentaries
• To provide support to the FD in a variety of projects, including preparation of the annual budget and improving the quality of management information and cash flow forecasting The business has grown significantly in recent years (12 locations) and now requires a Financial Controller who has the ability to provide real-time financial control of the entire business.
