Raeburn Group are assisting our client, an Oil & Gas service company, in their search for an Assistant Accountant. This is a 12 month contract opportunity based in Aberdeen city centre. The position supports the Senior Accountant with the accounting and financial support for the company Corporate Head Office. JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:End/Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts of the company and reporting to Group Assisting with month-end cost accruals and prepayments Preparing bank reconciliations Completing the intercompany process including agreement of balances with other entities, reconciliation and reporting in Hyperion Other Tasks will include: Working with the auditors at half year and full year end Assisting the Senior Accountant with the preparation of budget and regular forecasts The successful candidate will have an accountancy qualification however can also be qualified by experience. They will have experience in a financial role with strong knowledge of ERP and strong Excel skills. Experience of bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliation is preferable.
