As the Assistant Accountant, you will be joining a well-established, national, award-winning accountancy firm. A great opportunity for the successful candidate to manage a small portfolio of personal clients and nationally drive performance. As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for: Co-ordinate and manage team joiners/ leavers The completion of year-end accounts, CT600 and Corporation Tax computations Offer bespoke accountancy, taxation and tax planning advice Work with Senior Accountants to achieve business quality outputs Advise and support team members with more complex accounting scenarios Support the team, the Manager and continuously deliver a high service The successful candidate for the role of Assistant Accountant will have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of IRIS software packages Practice experience Qualified or working towards ACA, ACCA, ATT In return the Assistant Accountant will receive a basic salary of £31,000. The offices in Birmingham city centre are easily commutable by public transport and car parking is near. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 08.30am - 5.00pm.
