Change Recruitment Group have partnered with a market leader based in Glasgow to recruit a Financial Controller the role will have a strong emphasis on management accounting, financial modelling and liaising at Board level, whilst working on future growth alongside the managing Director They offer an excellent opportunity to create drive forward a Finance Team with a growing company Reporting to the MD, duties and responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of annual accounts with consolidated accounts for Group
• Preparation of management accounts together with variance analysis against budget
• Preparation of underlying financial models for use by senior management and shareholders
• Attend and present at Board meetings with senior Project Managers and offer analysis that will drive the projects forward
• Preparation of annual budgets for individual companies within the Group
• Ongoing forecasting and financial modelling on key projects
• Managing a small finance team Key criteria:
• Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Excellent communication skills
