Anderson Knight are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a manufacturing company based in the Glasgow area. The main purpose of the role is to provide financial decision support to the commercial team in order to boost profit delivery. This position is ideal for a Newly Qualified Accountant, be it fairly recently or a few years post qualified. My client is searching for an individual that is keen to learn new skills and progress their career within a fast paced environment. Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is ideal but not essential. The main responsibilities the Finance Business Partner position entails are: Involved in various meetings with key non-finance members of the organisation to discuss highly important financial information Review monthly commercial forecasts Provide ah-hoc financial support to the sales and commercial teams Preparation and review of commercial budgets Provide financial support in the negotiation of joint business plans The ideal candidate will possess the following: Fully Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet tight financial deadlines Excellent problem solving skills Sound knowledge of excel including pivot tables This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity that will allow you to really get behind the numbers.
