Our client is a global market leader in marketing communications, and seeking a technically strong Management Accountant seeking to take the next step up in their career. Sitting within a close knit and friendly team, this role with report directly into the FD and have dotted lines to senior management. This position has a real focus on reporting & technical accounting, and is perfect for someone with a key eye for detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines who is ambitions & driven. The position also has a 25% commercial focus which includes business partnering, stakeholder management and budgeting & forecasting. Roles and
responsibilities:
Managing the production of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, P&L and balance sheet and reconciliations Posting journals, accruals/prepayments Statutory requirements such as the annual tax pack and assisting with the annual audit process Commercial accounting such as assisting with the budgeting & forecasting, and some stakeholder management Supporting operational teams with answering finance related queries Ad-hoc project work Core skills: Studying or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Exposure to the Audit process highly advantageous Experience using a large ERP like Oracle or Netsuite IFRS reporting experience highly advantageous Strong written/verbal skills essential Ability to work in a team environment
