A market leading business based in Rickmansworth are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join them for a 3 month temporary assignment. This role would suit someone part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT). Key
Responsibilities:
Inter-contract recharges - preparation, review and process of recoveries to contract. Invoicing, entering journals and utilising system allocations Payroll analysis and timesheet control (iTrent SCP) Preparing SCP allocation files for review with Accountant Passing accurate costs to the contracts Managing SCP file month on month Management and reconciliation of Balance Sheet control accounts for recharge accounts Support Senior Project Accountants with Client / JV contract audits by providing relevant substantiation Other adhoc tasks as required Skills / Experience Needed Good Excel skills - comfortable with pivots, v-lookups, formulae Good communication skills Team player Good technical understanding to enable journal entries to be entered quickly and accurately to the correct ledger codes. Must be able to review and understand what costs are allowed and not allowed on different contracts without support. Ability to manage high volumes of data accurately to tight timescales Strong attention to detail Must be able to communicate at all levels as key stakeholders will be internal and external and will be Operational staff as well as Commercial. This is a 3 month temporary role which will start on Monday 22nd April - you must be available to start on this date. The rate being offered is between £14-£18 an hour, depending on experience and whether you are paid through PAYE / Limited. For more information please contact
