Heyland Finance are working alongside this multinational design and manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Pricing Manager to cover a maternity leave for a period of 16 months. Key Responsibilities; Working with the Sales Operations team to support winning innovative customer specific solutions with speed & accuracy Ability to read and understand customer RFQs and develop complex pricing models and complete customer pricing templates. Analyse customer data, understand operations, and have the ability to translate into financial information that can be used to incorporate into the quote model. Ability to ask intuitive and comprehensive questions in order to gain a better understanding of the quote requirements and then developing strategies to produce competitive pricing to win new business while minimizing financial & operational risks. Use excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work quickly and complete quotes within tight timelines and customer due dates. Ability to juggle several projects at the same time and work well under pressure and produce accurate results. Work with Solutions Architect and Business Development teams regarding operational solution, price competitiveness, and quote risk assessment, whilst being proactive in working with the extended quote team to ensure that all aspects of quotes have been considered and all risks are identified. Ability to make presentations in front of management and provide clear and accurate responses to detailed questions. Great communication skills with the ability to present cost solutions in front of customers, be involved in negotiations, and the ability to make quick and accurate updates to meet immediate customer deadlines. Perform competitive pricing analysis and benchmark various pricing activities by internal sites as well as competition. Ability to provide logical assumptions on cost proposals that protect the company against undue risk but also provide competitive pricing solutions. o Required Skills / Experience; o Ability to communicate with other groups, including strong presentation skills, Financial skills, problem solving & mathematical skills, Ability to analyse information, , Finance / Business degree or similar with a minimum of 3 years of pricing or commercial experience. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, especially revenue recognition, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow metrics. Quick learner, ability to understand complicated business models, and respond quickly to various inquiries.
