A boutique Private Equity firm based in Berkshire are looking to appoint a part time Financial Controller to support the growth of their business and investment strategy. The overall objective of the role is establish internal financial processes for the firm, as well as improving the reporting and visibility of the funds undermanagement. This will entail managing a mixture of working in conjunction outsourcers, as well as in house work. The Financial Controller will be responsible for: Finance function: take ownership for for the firm's accounting requirements, including management accounts, year end reporting, and administration of various suppliers such as office, insurance, and FCA compliance (which is outsourced). Fund administration : Investor records and liaison with fund administrators in Jersey. This work is necessarily outsourced but requires management by the appointed Financial Controller. Investor Reporting : Receive all portfolio reports and inputs them/prepares them for investor reports, including maintaining a set of KPIs and dashboards for each investment. Investor relations support : Liaison with administrators to implement improvements to our investors' visibility Portfolio Support - projects and initiatives within the portfolio require support from time to time. This could be involvement with due diligence or projects such as managing transactional aspects. Applicants Must be: ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified or Overseas Equivalent Experience in Fund Management/Administration advantageous but not essential Clear concise communicator, comfortable working in small business environment, largely from home on a remote basis but be able to attend meetings when required in Ascot, Berkshire when needed.
