Rationale For Hire: Due various circumstances we are looking for two contractors to work as Credit Analyst in the Wholesale Credit Department (specific team will be allocated on start of the assignment). Wholesale Credit is the credit underwriting function at the business and responsible for effective management of credit and trading risk exposures within EMEA and provides risk assessment, transaction structuring, deal execution and risk profile monitoring for counterparties throughout EMEA (Corporate, FI and NBFI). (Overview of Role) Wholesale Credit partners with teams globally, including Global Risk, Corporate and Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and Global Treasury Management to drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk disciplines specific to the credit portfolio and the bank's Risk Framework. The Wholesale Credit manages a portfolio of clients across the different sectors and regions covering the developed economies of Western Europe and CEEMEA. Supporting the Wholesale Credit Officers and Associates in managing all credit aspects of their portfolio. What will I be doing? (Responsibilities) Specifically responsibilities would include inter alia: Performing high quality credit analysis Ensuring timely submission of Credit Approval documentation, quarterly monitoring of clients financial performance, and other analysis and reporting as required Analysing risk ratings on an ongoing and timely basis Ongoing monitoring of the exposure for assigned clients and ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions Ensuring adherence to prevailing credit policy Competencies we look for Credit analysis and strong analytical skills (corporate preferred) Basic Understanding of Term Sheets and Loan Documentation Basic Understanding of Syndication Loan Capital Markets Good written and verbal communication skills Financial Modelling skills Proficient in Microsoft applications Ability to prioritize, self-motivated and detail oriented Good communication skills, both written/oral A 'self-starter', quickly learns and understand products, systems and core job tasks Demonstrates time management and can prioritize workload Makes service and customer satisfaction a priority Skills we look for Desirable additional skills: Strong analytical skills Advanced Excel skills
