Assisting the Head of Compliance with onboarding partners to this digital platform within one of the largest Lloyd's insurers in the city. This will be within a start-up environment where this large Insurer is taking on a number of new digital partners to its platform. Key Responsibilities; Conduct detailed risk assessments in regard to new AR applications and potential MGA partners Prepare applications for the approval of partners on boarded to the MGA Engage with partners to design, roll out and run comprehensive compliance and governance systems together with assisting on devising relevant updates as required Be a key contact for staff who act as the first line engagement with partners to guide on conduct risk and compliance issues. Assist first line staff to adjust and improve partners' corporate governance practices Evaluate compliance information reported to the organisation from its partners and prepare compliance management reports to senior management Identify compliance risks and evaluate their impact on partners and the organisation as the responsible MGA Conduct partner site visits and participate in audits if required as a subject matter expert Train staff and assist partners in developing robust training on compliance topics, actively promoting a positive Compliance Culture within the organisation and its partners Ensure robust record keeping, compliance with data protection law, and enhance data security processes .2 YOUR PROFILE Strong understanding of legal regulation and of operating in the a highly regulated FCA environment A deep working knowledge of all areas of the FCA handbook is essential, particularly PRIN, SYSC, COND, ICOBS, PERG, DISP and MIPRU Strong knowledge of and experience in FCA compliance and regulatory business affairs with regard to key risks and controls in insurance A detailed understanding of wholesale and retail insurance business and the conduct risks which attach to these products Strong experience in conduct risk management including TCF and compliant handling Good prior experience of compliance in the context of an MGA or similar delegated authority relationship Solid knowledge of Financial Crime legislation and experience in AML, sanctions, anti-bribery and fraud Excellent attention to detail, distinct analytical skills, drive and clarity in thinking A high quality, detailed and diligent work attitude with team playing capabilities and an enjoyment of working in a very fast-paced environment.
