Credit Risk Analyst - Financial Services Company - Hampshire Up to £35,000 Basic Full Time, Permanent Role Benefits Include: Pension scheme, Life insurance, On-site gym and Stock purchase schemes. Our client is a leading finance provider, whose business is going from strength to strength; this is a new role in the recently established Credit Risk team which receives regular interaction and guidance from the Chief Credit Officer. Our client is looking for a strong, ambitious analyst with data mining and analytical experience. It would be ideal if candidates had Credit Risk Analysist experience in acquisitions but not essential, you will need to be someone who embraces the challenge of being part of a growing and relatively new analytics function. With the right training and coaching, you will be given the excellent opportunity to define and shape acquisition strategy management in a progressive, agile and growing lender, and develop your own understanding of acquisition strategy management. You will be expected to provide support on design, monitoring and enhancing of acquisition and fraud strategies, and provide analytical insight on new business performance as well as supporting deep-dive analytics (cohort analysis, pre-post analysis, segmentation and ad-hoc analysis) to drive actionable insights and recommendations. What you have that we are looking for: Essentially you will be Degree qualified in a numerical discipline and have experience in using SAS or SQL although SAS is preferred. You will need Strong Microsoft Office skills e.g. excel, word, power point and access as well as strong communication skills and a career demonstrating experience of working to a high level of detail and accuracy Experience within a Credit Risk role is highly desirable, however, analytical experience within other environments or disciplines would be considered
