Risk Analytics Lead Nottingham Up to £48,000 Do you have a passion for innovative analytics? Are you experienced in rule writing? Looking for a step into management? A leading UK bank are seeking a motivated risk analyst to join their fraud analytics team. THE COMPANY One of the largest UK financial institutions, this bank offers the full range of services and products across global markets. Motivated by becoming the customer's choice, service and sustainability are key. A large customer base means extensive datasets and a highly analytical and innovative approach are integral to the company. Responsible for second line of defence, the fraud risk team are influential in business strategy development. With no two days the same in fraud, this team are adaptive, analytical and strategic. They are responsible for analysing and fine tuning detection and prevention solutions to keep fraud rates low whilst ensuring customer experience remains high across their digital channels. THE ROLE Conduct comprehensive analytics on large datasets Manage the rule performance, alert volume and optimise false positive rates across the fraud detection system Provide a high level view of emerging fraud trends to the wider business Direct line management of two junior analysts Lead the team in cross-functional projects as a risk analytics SME YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Extensive analytical experience, preferably using SAS or SQL Strong statistical software experience Educated to a degree level in a STEM discipline Prior line management or senior mentorship experience Experience in a credit or fraud risk role from the financial services industry Educational or industry experience building predictive models BENEFITS Up to £44,000 High non-contributory pension 30 days holiday Flexible working Competitive bonus HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest by sending your CV to Rosalind Madge via the Apply link on this page.
