Management Systems Audit Manager We have a new opportunity for a Management Systems Audit Manager to lead our team of remotely based auditors, who oversee the auditing of our 270 sites for Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Assurance, you will ensure compliance with recognized standards, through the completion of assessments and routine audits, observing the Integrated Management System audit plan. This is a key role for an experienced auditor with detailed knowledge of ISO standards. Attractive Salary plus Excellent Benefits About the role You will perform audits of our operating units in accordance with the integrated management system audit plan. Working with your team, you will lead the audit programme and the activity linked to the Integrated Management system. You will also provide advice and assistance to business divisions regarding compliance with the standards, ensuring their observance. You will lead with an engaging style, setting standards for others and advocating continuous improvement, as well as be able to respond pragmatically to any short term issues and any changes in the business structure and requirements. Key Responsibilities include -Managing the audit programme and the work of the Integrated Management System (IMS) audit team to ensure compliance with the requirements of the external certifying body - Performing audits of our operating units in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) audit plan. - Collaborating with business divisions regarding standards compliance, providing advice and assistance. - Preparation of the analysis of company performance against audits. - Supporting the implementation of new standards, including drafting, assisting the coordination and contributing to their preparation. - Liaison with certifying bodies during Corporate Audits. - Management of the company Integrated Management System (IMS). - Management and development of the Integrated Management System (IMS) audit team. What will you bring? - A background in Auditing or other relevant auditor qualification is essential. - Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of ISO standards (e.g. OHSAS18001/ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001). - Some operational experience from within the Construction industry is highly desirable - Experience working for a large business, operating across multiple sites. - An analytical and structured approach to planning and executing an audit plan. - Ability to build and sustain strong relationships across teams and all levels of the organisation. - Clear ability to manage a team effectively, with experience of building engagement and capability. - Strong written communication style with experience in report writing and technical documents. - Be able to respond to changes in business structure and/or business requirements.
