OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGER (DEBT RECOVERY) LEAMINGTON SPA, WARWICKSHIRE UP TO £30,000 WITH EXCELLENT BENEFITS AND FREE CAR PARKING This full-service commercial law firm is one of the largest in the Midlands with a long and prestigious history and a diverse range of clients, throughout the UK as well as regionally. Their Debt Recovery department assists clients (e.g. banks, financial and insurance institutions, corporates, retailers, SMEs, and individual traders) with the recovery of debts. The Operational Risk Manager's role is to deliver operational compliance with regulatory, legislative and client requirements, which include Financial Services Authority (FSA), Ofcom, CSA, GDPR, and AML. This involves: Ensuring incidents and complaints within debt recovery are investigated, recorded and handled professionally Reviewing workflows within debt recovery to ensure they are kept compliant Calibrating calls for debt recovery staff to ensure compliance Preparing client audits and due diligence requests Conducting risk mapping to map out processes and identify gaps The successful Operational Risk Manager must have: Excellent knowledge of debt collection rules and regulations (FCA and DPA) Compliance, audit and quality experience in an operational risk capacity would be ideal Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Please note that SVB Solutions are acting as a recruitment agency for the purposes of this vacancy
