Junior Accounts / Billing Clerk Fishponds, Bristol £9.00 - £9.50 per hour (Depending on Experience and qualifications) Part Time (16 hours per week, Mon - Fri) Our client is a busy solicitor's firm with several departments including; Family, Education, Wills and Probate, Employment, Regulatory and Conveyancing departments. Currently they have three offices in Bristol and Bath. Due to further expansion they are seeking to appoint a Junior Accounts / Billing Clerk. Continual training is very much supported by the company. The company embraces new technology to assist with work. About the Junior Accounts / Billing Clerk Role: Working in with a small team in a busy Finance Department, your main responsibilities will include: Preparing private and Legal Help / Legal Aid bills Producing monthly billing statements for private clients and fee-earners Cost draft Legal Aid claims and prepare exceptional claims Preparing completion statements for our conveyancing department Ensuring all bills are paid promptly or chased on at least a monthly basis Ensuring that all financial records are kept and maintained in an orderly manner When necessary answering the telephone, and taking appropriate messages Any other duties which are compatible with the role of Billing Clerk as directed by the Practice Manager or the partners About You: They are looking for the successful candidate to be professional and able to work from their own initiative, to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and to effectively manage their own time. Travel to their Bath office may be required from time to time, so full UK driving license and own vehicle will be advantageous. The successful candidates will initially be based at their Fishponds branch but may be required to attend other branches on occasion. You will be required to attend their Bedminster office 2-3 days a week for an initial period of a month for training purposes.
